Hopkins has never struggled with anyone who didn't have fast hands. I see him winning a very safety first fight, maybe even knocking Kov down once or twice after frustrating the hell out of him. Of course Power is always an equalizer just not if you cant land solid and not many people can land solid on Hopkins. Hopkins by wide UD.

B-Hop is my dude but don't be fooled by his recent success, Kovalev is an entirely different animal and at 50 Hopkins may no longer be strong enough physically to cut Kovalev's workrate. Hopkins isn't winning this fight, I've seen nothing to suggest it.

Wow thats disrespectful. They roll with the flavor of the month. Aside from power, I dont see what Kovalev might have that can trouble Hopkins. He's a pretty simple fighter.

No one ever said all he has is power. He might posses other things but nothing that can trouble Hopkins. Might be enough to get past other people but not Hopkins.

Hopkins has seen every different style in his career. If he doesn't get bombed out he's winning a unanimous decision IMO. We haven't seen Kovalev have to go 12 rounds yet, can he carry his power late into the championship rounds? Will he tire out? Hopkins will make it a dirty inside scrap, keeping Kovalev outside of his punching range. It's gonna be a good one that's for sure. Hopkins at 50 shows what a real fighter is all about. Fighting the best, no excuses.
