Bull**** DQ in my opinion. Chaves was definitely dirtier than Rios, but he was basically DQ'd because Rios lost his mind. To be fair, the replays didn't show us what happened exactly seconds before the disqualification. Maybe Rios had legit reasons to complain after all. I think Chaves was winning the fight.

Exactly lol, you can't have it both ways. I personally don't have a problem with it unless it's excessive and tonight the holding certainly wasn't excessive.
It was a great fight and ignoring all the point deductions, Chaves was comfortably ahead.Comment

I thought the stoppage was deserved... He was told he was going to get dq'd and still tried to "mush" rios on the break.Comment

What were the scores? I had Chavez winning too, but they didn't show us on boxnationComment

B.s stoppage the ref feed off on Rios's complaining at the end and bought it. Us boxing fans got cheated in this one, the ref did a terrible job tonight. He should have told both corners control your fighters or I will disqualified both fighters.Comment

He doesn't speak English so I'm not sure of the relevance of that, notwithstanding the fact he shouldn't have been threatened with a DQ for holding when no other fighter ever is.Comment

Notice how rabbit punching and headbutt complains are often times a direct result of one fighter holding. Stop the holding, those things stop.Comment
