    Kovalev wasn't mentally there tonight!

You could tell the way he fought, the way the interview was going around(box B-hop?), too distracted even in the ring after getting KD.

Something must be on his mind, maybe a problem with the missus or something, who knows but that wasn't the Krusher there tonight, even with the TKO in the 2nd round.

If that was a Kovalev who wasn't mentally there, I do not want to see a Kovalev that is mentally there. Scary

you're over thinking it sergey has only been speaking english for 2 years he barely understands it thats why that interview went like that, when he talks russian he comes off really smart, and as far as the fight goes a 2nd round TKO... you have no point!

He got caught cold with a flash knockdown and proceeded to destroy the guy in the next round. If that was a bad day for him then I don't wanna see what he does to opponents on his good day. lol

            Reaaaach.

The performance was rather impressive. He figured the guy out completely in 1 round and just erased him. That body tap KD was just tremendous. Perfectly placed and didn't even hit him solidly but still sat him down. His offense is insane.

Don't forget how much pressure he had on him tonight. He signed a fight with Hopkins on the same day he's fighting. No matter how mentally tough you are, that's going to affect you in some way.

It was a great performance regardless. beautiful body shot took Caparello out of the fight.

                  KD was weird.

Seen it a few times. Kovalev was not hurt at all. Eyes didn't bounce. Looking straight but could not plant feet because left was stepped on. Off balance shot. Nothing to see.

That said, he has enough holes that BHOP could explode. Its a fight
