Kovalev looked solid but it's hard to rate because Caparello didn't show much.

I don't think you guys comprehend what kind of puncher Kovalev is. He won't hit Bernard a ton but what lands is gonna hurt. Bad.

Comparing Pavlik to Kovalev is sheer ignorance. Pavlik was a friggin middleweight. Kovalev is a light heavyweight who hits like a heavyweight.

Kovalev isn't necessarily a "hypejob." He's one of the better light heavys in the sport. But he does have a lotta the same delusional fanbase as GGG who seem to think they're one in th he same. Kovalev isn't even on the same planet as GGG when it comes to skill level. And those delusional dumbasses are in for a rude awakening here soon.it isn't even a question. The Hopkins that beat Tarver wouldn't lose a round to Kovalev. The 50yr old version may be too old. But I won't be shocked at all if Kovalev is skooled and humiliated. I think that little of Kovalev as a fighter n

Kovalev isn't fleet of foot but he does one thing very well. Cuts off the ring.

Apparently you don't know who Hopkins is, here is his record: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?cat...&human_id=1414

Obviously YOU don't comprehend that being a puncher alone doesn't work with slick boxers. Kovalev's opponents stand right in front of him, that's easy work for a "puncher".

During his rise, Pavlik was considered one of the hardest punchers in the middleweight division. A lot of people expected him to knock Bernard out.
