None of that "scared Alpha Beta" **** means anything when it comes to the actual fight....Cotto looks "beta" in basically every face off yet he whoops ass in the actual ring...Just ask Sergio Martinez...

Same goes with Rampage Jackson vs Machida....Rampage was looking "dominant" in the stare-down yet when they actuality fought Machida used his head as a double ended bag...

Kovalev has nothing to fear from Hopkins...But he may get outboxed...

I agree with the idea that either guy could spark the other out - that's what made the fight so intriguing. OTOH who's the guy that usually takes 6 or 7 rounds to get the job done and who's the guy that takes 2 or 3?

Who's the guy that was extended 12 rounds by Fonfara - and dropped legitimately without having his foot stepped on?

You're right about Kovalev having a leaky defense though - he's almost the definition of a fighter who's offense is their defense, though when he has to he's mobile enough to get out of trouble fast.

What was up with Kovalev doing the wind up punches? I was laughing at it. Reminded me of playing Fight Night Round 4 lol
