I wish Kovalev would have said, "Bernard, he piece of shit."

You know the Light Heavyweight division is weak when HBO greenlights guys like Caparello. At least we have Kovalev vs. Hopkins next. And what's with these 175-pounders and bodyshots? Agnew, Fonfara, Caparello. Most journeymen take bodyshots better.

Caparello caught him off balance and stepped on his foot, that's all. But Kovalev can't be that lazy against Hopkins. He's gonna make it dirty and he better be ready for it

This fight might turn out to be un-watchable. The best thing that can happen is Kov finishes him early to save us from the fouling/spoiling. However, we know the chances of that happening are pretty low. B-Hop is witty enough to last 12 rounds, and it falls on Kovalev to make sure that he has to work every minute of every round.

It wasn't a real knockdown through.....He stepped on his foot and he tripped (happens all the time with Orthodox and Southpaw fighters) and hit him with a low blow right immediately before hand....He winced from the low blow and then got hit+stepped on the dudes foot...Nothing bad really.

When you have Orthodox and Southpaws going at it the feet get tangled up all the time

Still Hopkins by close by clear UDec

Not really....He simply gets hit more often when he fights Southpaws which happens to literally every Orthodox fighter who goes against Southpaws....

Why do you think Dawson was able to land on Hopkins so easily?? Hopkins gets hit more against Southpaws to....

LHW is weak but Kovalev/Stevenson are also two of the hardest punchers in the sport. Most divisions simply don't have that recipe of devastating punchers who know how to finish fights, and journeymen who can't spoil to survive.

While his defense isn't great, it's obviously not as bad as you paint it, as usual.
