There's no supposed weight a title should be defended. Technically, 155-160 is MW.

I see Cotto feeling that thunderous Jab and things will change and when the Bombs come Cotto will unravel and try to survive, Roach will see and be sick.

        Cotto won't last past 6

Golovkin and his team in no position to argue and they know it. If they want it, they got to pretty much concede to everything.

Go ahead and make it at 155.

That's probably true, but I don't think that Golovkin should give up everything to make a fight if it will affect his performance because he can make his own legacy with or without Cotto.

I think that if Cotto doesn't feel comfortable fighting at 160 he should vacate that title.

I also think that Golovkin should stop claiming to be able to comfortably go down to 154 because history has proven that no matter how much a fighter says they can go down with no problem, it's almost never true.

No point to be honest, I know GGG would probably do it for the money and the fame he would get if he beats a name like Cotto but then he would be severely drained. It's better to go up than come down and no I don't want the hear experts opinion about how he "weighed in at 159 or he is a small middleweight" or any crap that people throw around to justify why it's ok.

guessing anything between 155-158 is fair game.. Being Roach I would want it at no more than 157. Being Sanchez I would want it at no less than 158. If this fight is a PPV event. Then you know Roach and Cotto will have the upper hand in the negotiations being that he's the champ and Sanchez and Golovkin have never been on PPV.

That's the thing, I also believe that GGG can make his own legacy without killing himself for one of these guys. I don't see the rush to be honest. This is why I don't listen to fighters when they claim they can go down in weigh, they mostly say those things to entice a bigger name. GGG can make a name for himself like he is doing now.

That's exactly right bro, and in Golovkin's case he doesn't particularly need to sacrafice himself and risk fighting drained and depleted anymore because he's becoming a superstar all on his own.

GGG would still win, but Roach is the Cherry Picking Catchweight King.
