as others have said, getting to the country 45 seconds before the weigh in never helps

he probably had plans to run / sweat it out in the states, and never got to it because of visa issues. he looks like he could lose a pound, but if you don't time it correctly, you're stuck.

    all i know is this:
    the argies are coming

argentinian women are also some of the best looking you will ever see. perfect mix of european blood and latin thickness. ay carumba.

Well... Is it just me that thinks this but Rios looks top heavy whereas Chaves body looks more evenly distributed perhaps he is carrying a decent bit of size in his legs because he looks far from overweight lol.

        wtf

Rios miss weight and kills himself to make it boxing public goes mad, chaves miss weight by an entire pound and boxing publick like okay whatever.

boxing fans man more groupies tendencies then females.
Are you serious? Chaves got there like a day ago ffs. "an entire pound" miss me with that, if he showed up at 149 or 150 maybe you could talk but these are extenuating circumstances

Rios looks like he always does, I've only seen Chaves vs Thurman and some other clips, but I think he has the goods to beat Rios fairly easily.

Wonder what Rios training regime is actually like one second he says he can't make weight for lightweight but he doesn't particularly look that good at holding the weight at 147lbs.
Yeah same I think so aswell, Thurman is a much bigger puncher than Rios and Chaves was asking some good questions of Keith in that fight of theirs.

My prediction is Chaves decision or Rios by late TKO/KO.

                i hope so, bro.

i think you're right, too. chavez looked to be a badass argie in the maidana / matthysse tradition.

hell, even walter matthysse was a badass. check out his fight with paul williams.

the matthysse's got a sister who is a badass, and i believe a world champion

argies can f#cking fight. i think it's the beef they eat. they're all strong, have good chins, and are tough. carlos monzon might be the best MW ever.

Haha, no doubt. Chaves is a tough dude. I was actually suprised Rios jumped straight into a fight wtih a guy like Chaves... If there's anyone who deserves a light touch its Rios.

I could see Chaves having a lot of success early, but I just don't know if he has the will to go through hell for 12 rounds like Rios does.

Undercard is interesting as well. I've never saw Novikov, so I can't comment on him. But both he and Vargas are undefeated (i thought he lost his last fight but whatever ) so it could possibly be interesting

Oh and wasn't Mattyhssee reported to eat iguana meat or something? That could be it. Or as RJJ says:

"No GMO's and all the hormones they put in the meat that we normally get."

I was thinking the same, Chaves looked better, not at all overweight. Maybe Rios has to rehidrate some. Either way both guys are likeable and have fan friendly styles so I wish them both the best. Hope no ones gets hurt too bad and may the best man win.

I was leaning towards Chaves but the whole late arrival has me doubting myself. Then again, Mathysse got late to the States vs Peterson and look what happened.
