This kid fought a southpaw with movement in Seda two fights back, he was getting outboxed by a light flyweight

Stop going on like he has a chance or will be remotely competitive.
He wouldn't beat Frampton or Kiko & I'd doubt he'd beat Quigg either.

He is a mini Nathan Cleverly at best.

A true 126lb fighter feasting on over-the-hill flyweights. **** this fight, I'd rather watch Rigondeaux pound a heavybag for all its worth.
a very astute post! I'd give green K if I had any left to give today

Well he should put his money where his mouth is and fight Rigondeaux then, I suspect that Rigo would win by KO since Santa Cruz will want to bring the pressure.

I'm not sure if he really wants this fight or just try to use Rigo's name to hype himself up. You would fight him tomorrow? Then why not on the 13th of September? I'm pretty sure that that date is fine for Rigo as well.
I wouldn't be suprised if next day LSC woul say in an interview that he want to fight Rigo, BUT find opponenets is not his job so he let Haymon to decide these questions and maybe after 3 tune up fights he 'll fight Rigondeaux. Why these fighters who haven't got controll over their own carreer and their opponenets call out other fighters? Unless he's not just a lamb who doens't care about his opponenets and let Haymon to choose them alone it's meaningless to call out other fighters.
Otherwise I think Rigowould win fairly easy.
Props toLSC if he really going to fight Rigo on the 13thof September or early 2015, but I think it'sjust talk and talk is cheap.

even tho i think rigo top 3 pound for pound right behind ward i think the fact donaire was being thrown at us like he was the next great thing had a ton to do with this unbeatableesk notion of rigo

Ultimately is up to LSC and especially to Haymon. How come this guy who supposedly will face anyone hasn't faced any of the top competition?

"Calling out" means **** when you know it's "up to your promoter"
Is team rigo sending signed contracts coz from what I'm reading from rigo fans they only have to wait for who's gonna call the challenge, lol....they're all talking but who's really doing something? ...pot kettle black

Are you sure that has nothing to do with styles coz if you check nonito's track record prior to rigo, I don't think he could be denied being in the p4p at all..

Santa Cruz is not close to being as good as Margarito was in his prime. I don't know why people keep saying he is. Must of only watched one fight or so.

Well no one is really sayin lsc is like tony, and is why he is being viewed as a threat to rigo...me personally, the style clash is what intrigues me....High volume offensive fighter vs low volume defensive one..accumulted points or ring generalship,.bottomline, it is still points system. ..

                      a month b4 the bout & he doesn't have an opponent, that's a good way 2 go in 2 a bout, as far as preparation...sounds like MX but there it's usually a week b4 , both for an opponent and location...I 'm certain it's a "name", but no 1 w/ a chance 2 win...
