Been watching Pacqiuao highlights all day feeling all wonky from the tsunami that ran through Hatton, Cotto, margarito, and De La Hoya.

Put on a card where Hopkins is the main event and Garcia is the Co Main Event.

Great question because I would love to know why also.

Imo it is Just due to lazy promoters

It really isn't a big boxing city. At least not compared to yesteryear. Philly is dominated by the big 4 sports. Eagles Flyers etc. It's hard to find diehard fans here. Danny can not fill up the arena here as his fans mostly reside in North Philly where most of the ricans reside. That's a small section of the city. The rest follow the other main sports. There is no real money to be made here.

I believe BHop fought Roy Jones there in their rematch and the attendance was ****.

Edit: nm that was Enrique Ornelas the fight before RJJ.
