I really can't see Angel letting Danny anywhere near Thurman, unless it is for a career high payday. His style is a nightmare for "gift" and they would possibly target a "salsa" or two before before stepping up.

Belts are "two a penny" these days and basically mean chit, which is why fighters are protecting their 0's. I think there used to be less than a dozen belts in world boxing and if you held one, you really were the man at the respective weight.

I think Angel should get his head out of the clouds and realize his son is doing some serious ducking. There are no two ways about it. Floyd created the precedent for ducking and cherry picking opponents and Danny is just following suit.

I dont think he's "ducking" as much as whoever controls him (Haymon) is advising and making sure he steer clear of tough fights for the moment.
