Mayorga happened to own two World title victories over Vernon Forrest so he was definately respected and even feared by some. Yes, Broner has won titles but hasnt beat anyone remotely near the caliber of fighter that Forrest was. Broner is considered by most to be a gimmick, a hype job and a corney joke

That's cause Mayorga has always been likeable and funny. Broner was the "can man" (cheesy). His gimmick was to annoy people, but now that they've seen him whooped bad, it's not annoying anymore. He's just the dopey kid at high-school who talks a lot and embarrasses himself. The joke of the playground. It's more pitying than anything else.

But Mayorgas trash talk is more genuine, he wants to intimidate his opponent and destroy him. Broners talk is scripted. I enjoy Broners talk kinda like a comedians jokes, but Mayorgas talk is like watching 2 guys on the street ready to rip each other's heads off.

I agree, Mayorga was bad ass, Broner is just...dumb ass.

I just watch AB for some light entertainment now, he no longer annoys me.
