Comments Thread For: Rios didn't ask his Argentine stablemates for info on Chaves

Las Vegas, NV - Coming off two consecutive losses, former lightweight champion Brandon Rios is very aware of the importance of his HBO televised showdown against Diego Chaves of Argentina. The fight takes place on Saturday night at the Cosmopolitan Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas strip.

"It is a big fight. It is a big fight for me because of the fact that I lost my last two. I trained hard. I am well prepared and I followed my diet this camp. I followed every instruction right. I am very pleased at the outcome and I am already on weight. I am ready to rock and roll on Saturday," said Rios who appeared to be in great shape. [Click Here To Read More]

Brandon Rios: the thinking man. Master at studying his opponents and adjusting on the fly. A true chess player in the ring. Intelligence - phenomenal. Bernard Hopkins and Floyd Mayweather rolled into one super dynamic, Albert Einstein fighter/thinker.

The inspirational words of encouragement from his stable mates are as good as it gets; "you are going to be ready.* You look strong and look ready to go.'" I haven't been so inspired since Andre Berto's corner yelling "you're a beast bro. You're a monster" after being knocked down and pummeled in the bunghole like a $20 Thai whore in ****kok.

Easily. Floyd probably wastes a good amount of time talking to fighters who have been in the ring and fought or sparred with his upcoming opponents, trying to learn of a flaw or certain tendencies, while Brandon wisely saves his brain power for more important things such as figuring out if he should move forward, taking punches in the face, or if he should move forward, taking punches in the face.

Rios even had the great Manny Pacquiao guessing.

Rios truly made Pacquiao look bad in that fight, Pac is lucky he got the decision.

OHHH LAWDY LAWD KNOWS Pacquiao got lucky. If Rios would have landed that devastating, game changing, skull cracking jab, it would have been night time for Pacman… Pacquiao ran all night and jumped on his bike doe…
