Comments Thread For: Kell Brook Vows To "Rise To The Occasion With Porter

Kell Brook believes he will rise to the big occasion on August 16 when he finally gets his chance to become a world champion.

The Sheffield fighter takes on Shawn Porter at the StubHub Center in Carson, California, next month hoping to snatch away the IBF welterweight title from the American’s grasp.

To make sure he is ready for the long-awaited shot, Brook and his team at the Ingle Gym have left no stone unturned; they have not once but twice been to warm-weather training camps in Fuerteventura in a bid to make sure their man is in the best possible shape.

Let's hope that occasion don't come after a knock down or KO.

I still have this weird feeling Brook is going to find a way to pull out of this fight.

Not an easy fight, but Brook wins this.

I think Brook is the better fighter.

To be honest though, I do have concern over Porter's drug test dodging.

Brook, like all British fighters, gets teted randomly throughout the year, Porter doesn't want to do any.

I was thinking the same thing, 3 weeks is still a lot of time and anything can happen.

The winner should fight and retire Pcaquioa.

I bet my teeth Arum's puppet going to duck it.

The only fights puppet accepts is the domestic rigged bullshit by Top Ranked Fraud Organization like this one with that lightweight journeyman Algieri that's been paid off yet to lose it on purpose.

I think Brook is the better fighter as well.

I think people are going to be pretty surprised with how he handles Porter.
