he didn't win a round, but it's golovkin.

guys like kev and dancov think he sucks.

you've also got a lot of the black power posters on the site who don't watch golovkin because he's white, and think golovkin is only popular because of his skin color.

I don't remember for sure, but I think it was round 4 that I gave to Stevens. Golovkin kind of eased off and Stevens did really well.

If Golovkin went up and faced the 4th best super middleweight, he wouldn't fare any worse than Cotto did when he went up and faced the 4th best light middleweight (Trout).

Stevens made the fight enjoyable. He showed much more heart than Macklin and Geale who felt Golovkin's power and packed it in.

I thought Golovkin did very well in that fight. He faced a guy who decided to fight rather than lie down. Despite this, Golovkin kept his composure, didn't punch himself out, and still delivered a beating.

          yes...

curtis was able to push ggg and connect with some good shots...

ggg could not fight very well stepping back...

however, coming forward, ggg's body shots were beautiful to behold...

If he fights Cotto he will make that ***** quit...

Atleast If GGG steps up in weight he wont be targeting a past it handicapped fighter.

                  Chavez Jr.? Seriously?

Sergio is a good puncher and he literally broke Chavez's face. How does that repaired face hold up against thunderous power?

Let's not act like GGG would be the one backing up. His strength and punch power would see him bust Chavez's face up and he's also far more skilled than Jr.

If I remember correctly Golovkin was taking steps back when Stevens tried to be offensive, and most of his punches landed without real power. He couldn't catch him with big shots like he wanted to. Stevens won 1 round, and he didn't make Golovkin work hard to win the others. I thought it was a one-sided fight.
I think your a fanboy , rewatch the fight stevens hit him with some nice punches. GGG won the fight as expected without much trouble but I agree with the TS, that it was GGG toughest fight.

Stevens can take a punch and was able to counter for the first few rounds. He backed up GGG a few times. but that fight was all GGG. Dude can crack and take a punch.
