Stevens had limited success driving Golovkin back, where he didn't look comfortable. Understandable, he's not a box off the back foot kind of fighter.

I think rosado gave him the toughest fight of his career, stevens was a punching bag except for that 4th round (the last minute was good, he hit ggg with a couple of shots), but rosado fought, stand and traded... Stevens was backing up the whole fight with no success

Yep, Rosado definitely gave him a better fight. Then There was the cut that had him looking like a zombie. Without cut problems and "judging problems" Rosado woulda beat Petey Q. And have a title right now.

I agree I haven't seen the fight since watching it live, but something bothered me too.

Rosado was doing good until he started gushing blood all over the place

Lol doing good? Rosado was simply running/surviving/not engaging while taking a systematic beatdown. If you want to see Rosado doing good then watch his fight with Quillin.

I use the term good lightly about Rosado Golovkin.

Rosado was beating Quillin IMO before the "stoppage"

                  Me too.

I think he was maybe too nervous, because is Stevens is such a big puncher. He was taking big, big deep breaths in the corner after the first round. Looked really nervous, even Abel told him to relax.

But after Golovkin felt Stevens couldn't hurt him, it was a savage beating.

When GGG faces a world class fighter he will be in trouble.

It's because he started to hold his ground, the same thing Ouma did, GGG is not the same fighter when he can't back a fighter down.
