Good thought, maybe. Personally I'm running with Mayweather announcing his first self promoted fight for May. Since he has his license in Vegas now, I'm pretty sure he will attempt to dive straight into promoting himself and showcasing his roster next May. Yay…. what a big surprise… tons and tons of happiness radiating from all the boxing fans…

Khan won't get the chance to Fight Mayweather. Robert Guerrero or Devon Alexander will KO Amir Khan in december.

I don't think that's really fair for the numerous other guys who could get a shot at Floyd.

Put Khan vs. Guerrero in Oakland or San Jose!

Khan trains in SF / East Bay and Guerrero's from Gilroy. Why not???

Floyd may still fight him even if he loses a close decision.

Floyd is running out of credible opponents, Khan is definitely on the short list.

                khan is retired.

his chin retired after he fought prescott. dude's brain fluid probably leaks out of his ears when it gets hot.

20 bucks says this "tune up for floyd" rocks khan.

                  Here's the interview...

Every fighter is asked about a certain fight ahead. These fighters say "I'm not focused on that fighter right now, i'm focused on this fighter".

Canelo, when asked about a Cotto fight during his Lara training, is a good example.

Khan always answers with a 'Yeah, Mayweather is next, after this guy, we're definitely going for Mayweather." Just ward off those questions, say you're focused on establishing yourself as a top 5 WW and you're not thinking about Mayweather.

                    Who cares.

If he gets by his next opponent, he presents a different style matchup for floyd mayweather altogether...no disrespect to maidana, but how many of the same style cat can you fight

He doesn't have an opponent so how can he be focused on anyone? I think most people in the sport have an ultimate aim to fight the best. Chris Algieri said he was looking at Mayweather if he beats Pacquiao. Difference is no one cares about Chris Algieri. Khan certainly provokes a reaction for some reason.
