  • Gabriel Campillo vs Thomas Williams Jr this Friday is being slept on

Really interesting crossroads fight I've been looking forward to. It seem Campillo is only able land fights against big punchers now, otherwise he isn't worth the risk. Campillo is a bit chinny, but I still think it's ridiculous that Williams is a -450 betting favorite. I just don't see how whatever power Williams has will be able to close the gulf in boxing ability here.

    What?-450?

He's seriously being slept on. he was beating Fonfara before Fonfara downed him in the second half of the fight

Campillo will offer a fight and it'll be competitive

Debating going to this card, as it's in Washington. Andre dirrrell and Wale Omotoso are also fighting (against bums).

Thomas Williams to me looks clumsy and slow of hand and foot. When it comes to prospects, I like another "Williams" better. Julian Williams. He does things like a seasoned veteran and he impresses me far more. If Campillo had a chin, he would school Thomas Williams. Not sure about Campillo anymore but Thomas should not be that big of a favorite......more like an even fight.

Yo, if you're close, grab a cheap seat.

I lost all my nerve on putting actual money on it, but I thought this was basically free money. Was too worried about Campillo not getting a decision in the states.

Campillo looked in good physical condition, stayed calm when Williams would start pressuring and defended well. I think Williams lack of experience did him in tonight. He kept pawing at the cut and just couldn't stay composed.
