GB need to send Quillin over and let GGG eat him up.

This is exactly what came to mind. Now it's never going to happen until Oscar makes up with HBO. It's cool GGG isn't apart of the major promoters involved in the cold the war but he severely limits his options staying strictly with HBO.

HBO could make him a star but on the other hand it might not be fast enough to get Cotto to take a risk as he ends his career looking for big money fights. Other then Cotto and Chavez Jr he'd have to move up.

Quillin got an offer to fight Golovkin before he even signed with Haymon/GBP and he declined.

He isn't signed with an exclusive deal with Showtime, he wouldn't be on an undercard and finally on a main event, more money than he's been making and a unification to get out of obscurity.... it's either lose your belt to Golovkin or lose it to Korobov for much less money... and still on the undercard

Now all HBO needs to do is force Ward out to protect their investment.

Clearly ducking Quillin. Why couldn't he go fight Quillin then re-up with HBO?

              Clear duck right? Right?

I could be wrong but I think the HBO Golden Boy fued had more to do with the Richard/Haymon strong arm tactics. Obviously it remains to be seen how things go but I'm guessing HBO will be more willing to work with Oscar now. Time will tell.

Take note Rigo. This is how you get a powerhouse like HBO to show you some love. Be entertaining while putting a hurting on your opponent. Its sad because Rigo has all the potential and arsenal to do so but just refuses.
