    Yes please.

This will be an action packed war, cannot wait. Who's going to take a step back in exchanges? I call none of them.

    Team Froch!

Is January not an odd time for a PPV? Especially since it features Carl Froch who is well known but not a big star in the US and Chavez Jr who is waning popularity. I was hoping they would put it on some Latin-American holiday, doesn't seem like the most sound business decision.

But I can not knock the fight, neither man takes a step back and both have titanium chins.

Froch is the man. Should he win then a rematch with Ward better be under way because Froch deserves a shot at redemption at that point. Win or lose, Froch had one hell of a career.

Wow, applaud to Jr. For taking a very, very dangerous fight in "the Cobra". I don't see Jr being able to hang with Froch (too skillful), but it would be very very interesting. I was let down by Jr, thought he might be a ducker, now I know better...

Good fight and PPV worthy fight, just make sure to book a good co-feature for the event but it'll be a hot ticket in Las Vegas I think.

Everyone is expecting an all-out war but Im willing to bet Chavez comes out trying to box from distance early and not staying in the pocket until his legs tire (i.e. Vera rematch). Lets not foget Froch is prone to taking left hooks (i.e. Kessler rematch and Ward fight), especially when the hook is thrown off the jab. Froch's experience and conditioning should prevail however.
The January date is probably being picked so as to not crowd the PPV schedule. People will save their cash if the fight is scheduled too close to a bigger PPV.

The sad thing is, it was groves that helped push the Froch fight up to Wembly stadium status. Ward wouldn't have the same drawing power in the UK as Groves does now.
