Canelo. Dollars make sense but this fight makes sense for a lot of reasons. They've been dancing around each other for awhile now. Got the Mexico vs Puerto Rico angle. Skill & size wise they are an interesting match. Plus if Cotto sticks with top rank this could be the first major fight imo to really officially end the promotional "cold war" and force the two top promo outfits to work together on a major pay per view event.

I'd go for Canelo because it's more winnable.

He may bring in more money, but he would also take a larger share of it than GGG. I'm not sure that he would make that much more money from Canelo.

GGG would be a brutal stoppage loss however. Canelo would be a more competitive one (stoppage loss).
