    Demetrius Hopkins--How Good is He

I`ve never seen him fight, so I don`t know. His record of 22-0-1 is obviously very impressive but he hasn`t fought any names that I recognize. Plus he only has 5 ko`s. But I`m a fan of his uncle/promoter so I can`t help but cheer for him. Hopefully he won`t dissapoint his hometown fans tonight in Phiily.

Demetrius over his last 4 or 5 fights has imporved tremendously!

when I first saw him I thought to myself "next"

Now after his last 2 fights he has got me reevaluating him.

          VERY IMPROVED FIGHTER!

He does everything pretty well....even his power has improved a bit.

But, he's not one of those super-prospects....if that's what people are looking for.
I hope he's as solid endurance/chin-wise, as he is foundation-wise.

I'd have to compare DemHop to a young Vernon Forrest - pretty tall for his weight, great jab, decent straight right, above-average power, but the kid has BIRDLEGS, which was Forrest's downfall vs. Mayorga....

I agree that he has improved big-time, I remember a year or 2 ago he went into the hometown of another undefeated ocntender (can't remember who) and looked very poised in victory
