BoxingScene.com has been advised that undefeated junior welterweight prospect Jose Zepeda (19-0) is a strong candidate to face Brandon Rios on Saturday at the Cosmopolitan Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada if Diego Chaves is unable to enter the United States. BoxingScene.com's Jake Donovan reported that Chaves, who lives in Argentina, is having difficulty obtaining a work visa due to a backlog in the US Immigrations courts. The fight is part of an HBO televised tripleheader.

Exactly, how you wait till the last minute to try and get it resolved. Look at Maidana, Him and his whole team are able to come and go as they please cause they took care of everything in time, Hell he even got his son a visa.

Chaves team dropped the ball on this big time, hopefully it works itself out.
