According to the "Cotto's a middleweight" logic. Roy Jones is a fraud, coward, and disrespected the fans by not calling himself the "heavyweight champion" after he beat Ruiz by refusing to fight Lennox Lewis.

If Golovkin is not in the Majors and he decides to fight Rubio or Chavez Jr, It is total hypocrisy on Cotto's part.

Cotto fighting Rubio is like Pacquiao fighting Algieri, and it is also like garcia fighting Sob Ralsa, Or Rob Salsa.

I'm so sick of hearing about ppv, especially from fans, who apparently like buying them for some bizarre reason. Cotto should just shut up n get in the ring like a good boy. All the "business" bologna in boxing nowadays, maybe they should just decommission the actual sport and move it to CSPAN for round table discussions.

Not really. Hopkins fought at middleweight for 100yrs. There's always gonna be somebody new to fight. And if not, he fought guys like Robert Allen and Antwan Echols multiple times. Nobody accused him for avoiding guys like a RJ rematch and Calzage waiting for the welterweight stars like Tito and DLH to come to him, which he did. Hagler was a career middleweight. How many times have you heard somebody say, "oh he stayed at middleweight and never went up and challenged Michael Stinks and just waited for blown up welterweight Leonard, Duran, and Hearns to come to him?" Which he did. My guess would be none.

As a fan, I would like to see Ward and GGG move up to take on new challenges. But I have ZERO issues with them not wanting to. My beef is solely with these hypocritical muf.uckaz around him that justify GGG doing the exact same thing to Ward that Cotto is doing to him. And to be real, if one is any worse than the other, its GGG. Cotto actually has the drawing history to justify his stance. GGG is no bigger star than Ward. Hell, Ward draws more in Oakland than GGG draws anywhere.

So the mw lineal champ shouldnt have to defend it against the #1 contender?

Mention Kovalev doing a Roy and fighting the Stiverne-Wilder for a paper title and see how these dumb f.uckz round here act.
