Comments Thread For: Team Alexander on Khan "Who cares what he wants?"

Yesterday an article ran on BoxingScene.com where former junior welterweight champion Amir Khan said that he would like to face either Devon Alexander, Andre Berto or Robert Guerrero in December. Khan hopes that a win over either former champion will lead him to a shot against Floyd Mayweather in 2015.

Team Alexander aka Kevin Cunningham must have woken up in a dream thinking Alexander was a draw and actually could decide anything.

It doesn't matter in all actuality. If Devon wanted to they could fight every fight in St Louis and sell out like Ward and others do. The money in St Louis is just as green as it is in Vegas, LA, and Brooklyn. They wasted a lot of time trying to make a deal with Khan last time. If I were Devon I wouldn't be in such a hurry to jump just because Khan finally decided he wanted to fight.

Big fight for both. No excuses should be made.

yeah he drew an amazing 9k last time he fought in St Louis based on $15 dollar tickets. Wupti do. Managed to rob his opponent as well.

I'm sure top fighters are just dying to go there.

Well then Devon would miss his biggest payday. Good riddance.

Since when has Khan been considered a top fighter? WHEN?
