the quote looked terrible for froch the way HBO presented it but obviously froch was giving it a bit of tongue and cheek.

personally I'd love to see froch v GGG

Yeah, I was really shocked they did that.. That's something a NSb fanboy would use. Hbo needs to be above this, especially since they feature froch in fights in the past, and most certainly gonna be in some major fights in the future for hbo, why in the hell would they want to diminish froch's image..

The only thing I can think of is that hbo realizes ggg isn't gonna land a big name opponent anytime soon, so they are trying to paint the picture that ggg is the most avoided guy and trying to build acceptance of future fights of ggg vs lesser names ie macklin, geale, rosado, etc

Froch alway said he would rather fight GGG than Groves and I understand why, GGG style is easier for Froch than Groves style. Froch had no choice but to defend his belts against Groves because if he had a choice he would have fought GGG or Chavez instead of fighting Groves in their first fight.

Carl Froch's resume would tell you enough that it was a complete and utter bull**** quote. Froch-GGG is the fight I want more than anything.

They were clearly hyping up the HBO fighter who they are banking on being the next big thing in GGG. Its funny though when they quoted Froch, I was laughing hard because I remember Froch was laughing after he said it to joke with the question a bit. He wasn't acting serious at all and he showed it by laughing after the comment. I think HBO purposely did it to try and bait Froch to fight GGG or set up a catchweight fight between the two which would be a huge super fight.

Nope not even close. I can see that you are just a nationalistic fan though since you are so quick to randomly bring up America and you blindly worship Froch. Sorry that Froch has his knickers all wet with pee at the thought of fighting Golovkin, because all boxing fans suffer for it and that includes both you and me. Maybe that wanker hero of yours will grow some balls one day but I doubt it.

It was clearly a tongue-in-cheek comment. Anyone who knows anything about Carl Froch would realise that. Is this another case of Yanks getting KO'd by Irony again or something?
Dude, you cant just say "i would swerve Golovkin" and then expect other people to function as though you didnt say it. If you dont mean it, dont say it. But if you dont mean, and you do say it, expect other people to hold you accountable. This is basic tact.
