MW is better than most divisions in the sport. If you consider a proven fighter like Geale trash, then you better make sure you call nearly everybody else, save for the very few elite trash as well. Then the elite is doing nothing but beating on trash, so are they truly elite? If you're unbias then everyone is trash, including Cotto.

basically this ... if geale, a two time world champ with a very solid resume, is trash then by extension everybody in the so called elite aren't actually elite at all as they are just beating trash ... e.g. geale beat sturm ... look at sturm v de lay hoya debacle ... e.g. de la hoya is trash ... thus arguably the best name on floyd's, the p4p no 1's, resume is trash ... etc etc cotto lost to a guy who's best win was against trash etc etc

people need to distinguish between actual journey men/tomato cans with losing records and the like and actual world champions and top contenders.

geale was a top 5 MW. he had won two world titles. he isn't the most talented MW of all time, but he was a proven contender.

He is a good fighter, Golovkin is just too much. That's actually the mark of a dominant champion like Wladimir or Floyd, and now Golovkin. They make their opponents look like they aren't trying hard enough, or just suck. What you're seeing is extreme frustration.
