    what a great weekend

4 fight cards in two days, gotta love it. friday night fights, then shobox: the new generation. i'd be content with that over the course of a weekend, but then the very next day, lacy vs calzaghe and immediately following, cotto vs branco.

it's a good week to be a fan.

Let's not forget the JMM vs Chris John fight. Problem is it's in Indonesia.

It really is a great weekend, I'm a boxing fan but also an MMA fan. USA vs Canada showdown main events:

      Rich Franklin vs. David Loiseau
BJ Penn vs. Georges St. Pierre

i like some mma, but not the ufc, although penn is a good fighter. If no boxing is on, I'd rather watch pride than any other, seems more competition and tougher fighters fight on Pride, and they all fight each other. that gomi cat is 1 bad mutha

additionally, pride seems a little more like boxing, with the ring and etc. i cant stand watching people fight in a cage..

yup, agreed.. and the thing about it, is it's one of the those weekends where it feels like only the 'hardcore' boxing fans know about it.
