Should we as fans be "pressuring" fighters?

We live in the digital age, what is stopping a group of 200 people sending a tweet/commenting on their instagram or facebook to a certain fighter.

"You need to fight (blank) and unify!." Or "You're not a real champion till you fight (blank)"

If the networks/promoters won't get fighters together it has to be done through the media and the fans.

Are you high?? There are a plenty of ducks in boxing but you chose Canelo to bullyhim on twitter? Canelo's last four match: Trout, May, Angulo, Lara. One of the best resumes in boxing in the past years. Why the **** you picked Canelo to bother him with your messages? Why don't you choose Fury, Wider, Quillin, Broner or someone like them instead of Canelo if you really want to bully fighters on twitter?

I'm happy with Canelo's oppositions lately but that doesn't mean he should get a soft touches now unless it is non-PPV. Only now and then.

Does that even work? Then everyone on this forum should do it.
