You honestly seem to have some misconsecption on how boxing works. If a fighter backs up,they eventually reach something called the ropes. Golovkin will back cotto up to the ropes and demolish him. And if your even thinking of saying that cotto will outbox, and out move GGG,just remember that Monroe is 10 times move of a mover and a boxer than cotto is,and he couldn't get away from golovkin.
NO.
Just NO.
There is a subtle difference in levels that you are not ready to pick up, or admit. Do NOT kid yourself that Monroe, is on Cotto's level. He might be bigger but that is where it ends.

In your effort to insult you illustrate your ignorance of the sport. Cotto has been showing movement in circling, both tight and wide. But, if you think Monroe is 10x the boxer that Cotto is then I'm clearly wasting my time trying to explain anything to you.
Don't act blind because of your preconceived notions and bias. Cotto has shown very good movement since being with Freddy. Genady can't hit guys while moving. His whole MO is to hunt guys and strike when they stop retreating. The math on this one isn't hard to add up. You just have to be willing to be honest. I like Genady more than Cotto but I don't have much faith in him winning this.
Yes sir. People get carried away and think things are written in stone around here. "GGG slaughters Cotto doe."
Reality and fanboy crush analysis are not always in agreement.
They will soon learn. Until then, they will beat the shyt out of their laptops posting fantasy as fact. It happens ALL the time around here.

Cotto can move in rectangles and triangles if he wants, there's no direction that he could move, that golovkin wouldn't be able to cut the ring off on him. And if you knew so much about boxing you'd have know that when I used the term "boxer" it was related to a fighter that prefers movement, speed, and counterpunching, rather than coming forward and attacking.
