Now he is fighting in Latvia? Is this just what's available for a washed up former great, since there are no offers in the States? I know most would cite money as the primary reason but I'm thinking it's just Roy living in his own bizzaro world, where he gets to relive and pretend it's the 90's by beating up on a overmatched opponent by throwing 5 punches per round. It's good therapy.

Yeah, I'm into round 4 now. He is busting out his old, prime-esque moves of punches from weird angles. Started off the fight by throwing the jab but is now back to being the "old Roy" (yeah right).

As I said, this might be good therapy for him more than the need for a paycheck.

Do you know originally he was going to fight james toney? He said no because it would have been at heavyweight and Roy said he's not fighting at Heavyweight because it wont do anything for his cruiserweight rankings.

Seems he still enjoys it, i guess it gives him a sense of purpose chasing that last title. Maybe he dosen't like to just sit back and count his money, i dont know.
