I would bet that, if some astute boxing writer called the hospital where Hughie Fury is supposedly staying, they would discover that he is not a patient there. I'm starting to think there is some truth to this. He seems too overconfident and loudmouthed during the press conferences, like he's trying to hide his real feelings. It's possible he had some kind of mental breakdown on the night before the fight, told his trainer he wasn't feeling well, and they made up this story in order to pull him out.

I couldn't believe they had accepted Ustinov when it was announced; way too dangerous of an opponent to not have a proper training camp for.

It's simply not the nature of the business for a famous, a-side fighter like Fury to take on an in-shape fighter like Ustinov because his opponent withdrew. Commendable as it would be, it's just not done.

Last time I remember it happening in the heavyweight division in a big fight was Lewis-Klitschko. Not a good day at the office for Lennox.

Dont blame Fury for pulling out, but they should have just cancelled the card.
