Liked what I saw from him a lot. Puts punches together well, works hard in there every round, 10th rnd he didn't even look the slightest bit tired.

Paris is tough, has good skills, he's just not a too level fighter. Reminds me of mike arnoutis.

I don't want to put too much pressure on the kid but I loved his potential even while in the Amateurs. Kinda the forgotten guy lost in all the hype for Jose Benavidez out on the West Coast but I think Gomez style translate better as a Pro than Benavidez both I think/HOPE will be Stars but Gomez is relentless

First time seeing him in the Amateurs years ago, first fighter that came to mind INSTANTLY was Fernando Vargas lol

He can make noise at 140 QUICKLY! I agree Humberto Soto would be a excellent 2nd step up for him.

Also Los Angeles is a great boxing city, LA is what made Oscar a TON OF MONEY! Also Shane Mosley fighting out of Lynwood back then would draw well at Staples as well, but the buzz for boxing is not the same out their like it use to be but it is a great boxing city that will get 100% Behind someone like Gomez with him being Mexican and from East LA
