Actually, Michael Jai White |has played Tyson before. It was in a TV movie called Tyson Uncaged, produced in 1995. I suspect the real reason for choosing Fox is that he is in fact a bigger name. To play Tyson does not require one to be a Juilliard School graduate. The fighting technique is probably the most important aspect of this role.
