I don't understand why mayweather didn't just make the gloves a part of the contract. Obviously, he is the a side and can dictate the terms. I don't see why his management didn't insist on the gloves being in contract, especially when it was an issue in the first fight

It's just hilarious that Floyd fought Cotto, a guy who arguably hits harder than Maidana cause he's bigger, the same gloves--why has no reporter brought this up to him?

The last sentence lets you know that Floyd feels he's bigger than the commission and can make up the rules as he pleases.

Ridiculous. Posturing at it's best. This is why I knew the Manny fight would never happen. Both guys at the top of the sport making demands in order to come to an agreement but cut short by ego. Floyd doesn't play on an even playing field and he never will. Even if Maidana has time to train with gloves the Mayweather camp is ok with now the Money Team will again ask him to switch gloves an hour before they fight.
