Golovkin is one of those fighters who lives up to his hype and then some.

I can see BIG problems for any other factors of his and surrounding divisions who would dare to take a crack at that.

This guy needs to stop talking. At least until the fight is over, anyway.

Except actually it was 'we're open to offers from anyone between 154 and 168' they didn't say Golovkin would KO everyone.

In fact Sanchez said that he thought a Froch fight would go the distance, and FWIW Gennady himself says he thinks the Geale fight might well go all 12.

To those who said Canelo would beat him. You guys must be out of your minds.
But who has GGG beaten that's as accomplished as Canelo doe

They are behind with selling tickets -- they have to shout till the fight night.

are you unable to judge potential in a fighter? Honest question btw. Or are you only able to judge a fighter based off who he has beaten? Can you tell that a prospect has skills and potential by watching what they do in the ring?

for instance if you saw ali/tyson fighting a few mediocre guys on the way up and dominating them would you be able to tell that these guys have great potential and would beat the likes of say a proven 30-0 michael spinks? or would you say that because they haven't beaten a top name yet they would obviously lose to Spinks?

It seems strange that people can't seem to recognize skill and potential when they see them and are only able to look at names on records.

Don't know how long you've been following boxing. But I've seen many a prospect look awesome against ****ty competition and get thrashed when they step up in comp, hence the popular boxing term "exposed." So to answer your question, yes, I'm able to watch prospects on the way up and recognize potential. I was higher on Mikey Garcia when he played second fiddle to Gamboa and Juanma when they were prospects. I picked Rigondeaux to beat Donaire. But I've also missed on several over the years. I missed on Berto. I appear to have missed on Broner. And if you're honest, you've likely hit-n-missed on several as well. So again, yes, I'm a decent judge of talent. But I'm at a stage in my boxing fandom where I really don't give a f.uck how good a boy looks until he does it against somebody that matters. Just because I don't anoint every joker that comes down the pike as "the next greatest thing" doesn't mean I don't recognize potential. I simply curb my enthusiasm until he proves it in the ring.
