It's not about styles. It's about building a brand for yourself and promoters doing there job ... PROMOTING. No schadenfreude here, I actually like GGG and view him as a potential ATG ... HE'S THAT GOOD. With that said let this be a lesson, sure it's an easier sell if a fighter is knocking everyone out and is also fortunate enough to come from a region of the world that just so happens to support their countrymen. But with that said the same way there's a science to what takes place in the ring there is a science to what takes place outside of it... Its not up to the fighter to put butts in the seats, its on the PROMOTERS !!!

Let's be real his biggest audience is out of the country so he does good tv numbers, they do offer HBO outside of the U.S. but i'd buy the $25 ticket if they'd upgrade you, sometimes they can be @ssholes at MSG even when there are a ton of available seats in other sections. Sad that's a quick walk from my house too.

I still don't understand the resistance a Ward-GGG showdown gets around here. Consensus P4P #3 and undisputed best super middleweight Ward. Believed best middleweight and future P4P elite GGG. Both Olympic medalist in the prime of their careers. This is a fight fan's wet dream. And the main one's that don't want it are GGG fans. They b1tch-n-moan daily about all the big names ducking GGG. He's got a big name wanting to fight him. What the problem is

Really bro? Both his parents are 100% Puerto Rican which makes Cotto 100% Puerto Rican. He could have been born on mars and would still be Puerto Rican. For instance if you were a white person born from two other white people in Puerto Rico that does not make you Puerto Rican. I hope you were joking.

How big would andre ward be if he was mexican..i wonder..

In boxing you gotta be mexican or puerto rican.. Anything else and you have to do something extra to get the big fights.
For real, boxing is like soccer in Puerto Rico, it's that or baseball, all day.

If he were fighting Ward you wouldn't give a **** about upgrades or pricing. Time for GGG to step it up.

It's too bad that it isn't selling good... It's a good fight, with an emerging superstar and one of the best action fighters currently.. Probably should have waited on the garden til it was a legit big fight like cotto
