I hope it's against somebody good.

I think Juan Diaz would take Omar Figueroa's belt

I'm surprised that Diaz hasn't fought in a bigger fight yet..

It's been a year and a half since he cameback, I don't mind the tune ups but he should have fought someone by now

Maybe with a win he could get a crack at Ronny Salsa.

I think it's coming next in November on the Crawford undercard. If Garcia doesn't come back, he could e lining Diaz up for Crawford's vacant belt

That could be the plan.. Diaz is a big enough name to where it's only a matter of when not if he lands a big fight..

I'm kinda surprised that Juan hasn't fought rocky Juarez yet on his comeback.. You would think that would be a big fight in Houston and would be a nice payday for both guys.. Both guys came up during the same time on hbo about 10 years ago.. Would have seemed like a logical fight to make for Juan's comeback.

You having mentioned Rocky makes me reflect (again) on what a huge bust Rocky was. He is one of the all time disappoints, his performance never coming close to the hype. He never seemed to want to reach for much, he almost appeared to consciously work at underachieving. Anyhu, yes a Baby Bull vrs Rocky fight would be interesting, the only problem is that the loser would need to accept that his career was over.
