Do you really think that Cotto does punch harder than Stevens??? I do admire Cotto - great fighter. But I have no illusions - his win over shadow of Sergio doesn't prove anything. It's not that his bad - he's very good but 160? He wasn't known as a puncher at 154.
And Stevens DOES punch very hard.

Stevens's hype as a pro was built upon him being a big puncher, and that was at super middleweight. It's not an opinion that he hits harder than Cotto. It's the truth.
Cotto hasn't carried his power since he went up from 147.... and to be honest even after he went up from 140....

He wouldn't have knocked down Martinez 3 times in the first round if he didn't have power above 140, lol

If you are going to determine Cottos power at that fight... tell me who was the last person Cotto even knocked down before that fight? Im a big big big big Cotto fan and I don't even know... if I had to guess I would say Zab Judah. Besides that guy Rodriguez.. forgot about that one..

With all the belts floating around. I'm sure that if GGG wanted to badly enough and HBO put a lil money behind it, Gennady could win a belt at cruiserweight. Does that mean he's then obligated to fight Yoan Pablo?

Calderon would have KO'd Martinez that night.

BTW, its been awhile since I reminded you. Calderon kicked Cotto's arse

Mayorga quit, and was pointing to his hand, Foreman had one leg (as did Martinez), Quintana was before Judah, and I I like Cotto buddy... his power has been suspect at 154. and to be honest even at 147.

I don't get it... maybe it was him changing trainers and his style the past few years... but he hasn't carried his power.. he was a seek and destroy guy at 140.

Calderon had Cotto weight drained at 144 like your boy Pacquiao did.
