Golovkin Busted Up Groves Ribs In Sparring?

Some random British guy was spreading rumors on a UK podcast that Groves dropped Golovkin in sparring and Steve Kim posted this when asked if he could verify it.

Every Golovkin sparring clip i have seen his partners were wearing rib protection wonder if George was.

The random british guy or Steve Kim. Both probably don't know nothing about the situation....
Asking Steve Kim to verify what might have happend is not the smartest move...

Steve Kim is plugged into the Cali boxing scene and Big Bear more than most people.

A minute later the same British guy says he knows Peter Quillin and that he isn't scared of anybody and would take the Golovkin fight yet he'll only fight Jacobs if the price is right and backed out of talks with Lemieux not too long ago. Kid Undercard also turned down a title shot against Golovkin prior to the cold war and winning the WBO belt when he was publicly begging for one. We all know Golovkin still isn't a big enough name for Peter though.

GGG team respects privacy and thus was silent about how the sparring session with GG. However, since this rumour was aired on Sky Sports and people have bought into it, GGG team will most likely respond to this by issuing their statement.

I was contacted by the rep of GGGteam, she asked for a link and sent it to GGG personally. She told me the story is a complete BS. GGG team agreed to be silent about how the sparring sessions went and she asked me to keep my mouth shut as well but you may try to ask Groves team and may hear something interesting.

As if! Stevens was a bigger puncher than Groves n he couldn't drop GGG with 8oz gloves, like Groves is going to do it!

Actually, it was never Abel Sanchez that talked about those "legendary" sparring sessions with Angulo, Quillin, Chavez Jr, Canelo, light-heavyweights and etc. The people who spread out those stories were other trainers, fighters and boxing writers. Everytime Abel was asked he always tried to answer in the most respectuful manner. Golovkin beat up Chavez pretty bad as we all saw in that sparring session, and Abel gave Chavez mad props, never said that Golovkin beat him up (wich he did).

Did they even spar? Is that official?

Groves was asked a month ago if he ever sparred GGG and he said: "No, thank God".

Anyways, wouldn't be surprised if GGG busted Groves' ribs. But then again, it's all sparring bs stories.
