Comments Thread For: Geale Doesn't Believe Golovkin Isn't Overlooking Him

NEW YORK – Daniel Geale laughed off the fact Gennady Golovkin was scheduled to play a guest role in a Broadway play just three nights before their middleweight title fight at Madison Square Garden.

“While he’s on Broadway,” Geale said before a news conference Wednesday at the Garden, “I’ll be relaxing.”

Golovkin’s relaxed approach prior to their 12-round fight for Golovkin’s WBA middleweight title has led Australia’s Geale (30-2, 16 KOs) to believe his heavily favored foe is underestimating him.

Didn't nobody tell you never to use no double-negatives in none of your titles?

            Just to recap:

Geale doesn't believe in Golovkin's ability or reputation.
He thinks he can hurt Golovkin.
He thinks Golovkin is overlooking him.

This is going to be a bad, bad, BAD night for Daniel Geale. Honestly, it feels like he is over-talking to make up for ducking him earlier this year.

geale is slow for a world ranked fighter, and relatively unathletic. he has very little power.

he is going to get freaking destroyed. styles make fights. geale will have no answer for golovkin's power, other htan his chin. that's not good.

He is trying to convince himself he can win, like most he is dreading sharing the ring with GGG but i respect him for taking the fight. he might do better than expected but GGG's power will be too much you would think.
