Gtfoh!
^^^^ The most repeated lie in sports. It is impossible to cheat someone on a catch weight because catch weights are a way to cheat the heavier opponent in the first place. That includes Mayweather making Canelo come down in weight. Mayweather thoroughly out boxed Marquez and his performance had nothing to do with weight. But if it tastes so good in your mouth to say " he cheated on the skills doe" I hope you wash it down with a baby bottle of milk. Saying he cheated on the scales is like saying "he didn't come in the ring weakened enough by having to lose extra weight".Comment

Let's face it, Floyd didn't get to where he is on hard work and dedication. He got there strategically by WHO he fought and WHEN. He wouldn't fight Mosley & Cotto in their prime; way too dangerous. Floyd still hasn't fought Pacquiao; still too dangerous. Floyd has mainly fought Latino/Mexican fighters who were one dimensional, lead with your chin, methodical, plodders, who cut like a stuck pig, or were smaller than Floyd. The only legend he fought in his prime was Oscar and most who saw that fight felt Oscar won the fight. So much so, Floyd walked away from a $25M rematch with Oscar. Floyd fans hate to hear that, but go right down Floyd's manufactured resume. He could have fought Mosley in his prime who was fighting Vernon Forrest twice, whom Floyd could have also fought. If Floyd is the man, he could have made two or three fights with Pacquiao by now; he's chosen not to, after Manny agreed to every demand thrown at him by Floyd. Floyd could have fought Sergio Martinez like Ray Leonard went up to fight Hagler; no way Floyd wanted that. Floyd for 18 years has been a lot of smoke and mirrors, and great PR. He's about the paycheck, not fighting the best of the best in their prime, multiple times if need be, just like all the legends before him did. Floyd wants the safest route to the bank.Comment

Trying to compare Mayweather pushing off with his forearm to Maidana throwing intentional illegal punches, headbutts and tackling is just a desperate ploy to justify one of the most de****able displays of poor sportsmanship that has ever been seen in pro sports. Anything to detract from Mayweather as usual...Comment

Placing more importance on "the contracted weight" than the weight division in which the fight is taking place because of the contract and the contract alone has no merits in determining whether the fight was fair or not. People only use this "he didn't make the contracted weight doe" excuse because it's Mayweather that they're talking about and because he beat Marquez so easily while Pacquiao has struggled with and been knocked out by Marquez.Comment

yes exactly. guzman coming in 9 pounds over the contracted weight against funeka wasn't cheating at all. he just didn't want to be weak like floyd. guzman got destroyed in the first fight but won the rematch when he didn't make weight but weight doesn't matter right? all about dem skillz.Comment

How can you say that he cheated Marquez on the scales and that he drained Canelo in the same breath!? Those two statements contradict each other. If you can't see the hypocrisy in that then you really need to take that hating a$$ blindfold off.Comment
