So, why all the crying for Maidana's antics? Why never any criticism of Floyd for the Elbows. An elbow to the face can do a lot more damage then a couple low blows.

mayweather only uses his forearm (never his elbow) to neutralize dirty tactics from is opponents. there is virtually no other way to keep someone from headbutting you up close, certainly none more effective.

if maidana doesnt use dirty tactics inside floyd wont use dirty tactics of his own to stop him. maidana has himself to blame while floyd is only doing what he should do when the ref isnt catching on to an opponents fouls, take matters into is own hands. thats why..

that said he never uses his elbow either, only his forearm and even that is never used as a strike. he only puts it up to protect himself from his opponents head and then push it away to make space to punch. that doesnt do more damage than a low blow or even come close.

They both known for fouling, I know Maidana is a known rabbit puncher but i give him a pass when Floyd exposes the back of his head bending over unprofessionally or the hits in the back when you exposes his back to fighters, whats does he expect to happen? That is also against the rules but again what does boxing ever enforce? Maidana give Floyd a take down and punches him while getting up, no warning no nothing. It was just a foul filled fight by both and just as a side issue, Floyd cut was caused by a punch. I never seen anyone show me the head butt, but I can always find the punch that did it.

I'm glad Maidana kicked the **** out of Broner, but Mayweather is going move a lot more and out point him....his mistake was thinking he could knock out Maidana and he sat in the pocket trying to catch him...once that didn't work, he allowed Maidana to get those early rounds. He adjusted and won the fight 7-5 imo. If Mayweather doesn't get caught, he beats Maidana easily in the rematch.

I would like to see Maidana beat the **** out of Bradley though, and see what he can do against Pac(that would be a interesting fight)
