Queensberry Promotions were the sole bidders today in Rome for EBU flyweight champion Valery Yanchy´s defense against mandatory challenger and reigning British and Commonwealth titleholder Kevin Satchell (12-0). Queensberry bid 21,000 EUR and the fight will go ahead in Liverpool at a date to be announced. Yanchy, from Belarus but fighting out of La Coruna (Spain), is 23-3-2 and no stranger to fight on the road and he won the title by beating Andrea Sarritzu in Italy earlier this year.
