you are completely missing the point.

floyd and manny are the two biggest names in boxing. if little promotional outfits like goosen and kathy duva main events can get promotional license why cant floyd? if ****** ass oscar can get a license so can floyd with the backing of al haymon.

sponsors are almost always public companies, fortune 500 companies, publicly traded companies. they are careful to who they sponsor and align themselves with. there's a reason why the fake clean guy image pacquiao has a nike deal and the person who is an ex convict with multiple violent assault cases against women among other things doesnt despite the fact that he's been #1 in the game for awhile.

there's a reason why it took this long for floyd to finally get a license.
