How was Pacquiao able to outfox the Desert fox?

Manny proved why he's one of the best ever...by outfoxing the undefeated Desert fox Timmy Bradley.

The question is how was Pacquiao(supposedly past his prime) able to control the fight from start to finish against a future hall of famer Bradley?

Ring smarts and experience...btw Bradley isn't going to be a hall of famer.

He wasnt able to control the fight until the second half of the fight. Pac at this stage is just slightly better than prime Bradley IMO. He beat Bradley by keeping his punches short and straight while Bradley was swinging wildly for the fences. I think it mostly came down to experience. He has a bit more craft than Bradley.

Pacquiao has underrated boxing ability and also people are saying he has declined more than he really has.

Has he slowed down? Yes. Drastically? Naw.

flomos: because bradley threw the fight away. pac had nothing to do with it.

Because he's an ATG fighter with 15 years worth of experience and the skill learned over that time.

that's what ATGs are made of. even though pac is past his prime he is still able to outbox a highly ranked and highly skilled fighter like bradley.

It's pretty drastic. Manny is more skilled than at his best, but the physical decline is pretty large. Watching the videos of him shadow boxing at his best compared to before the Bradley fight was startling in the difference.

He out-foxed him by being the superb boxer between the two. Better talent, power, foot-work. He's just better.

His hand speed is still there, he might not be knocking people out but he has enough pop to get respect.

Footwork is still there, he's just fighting a more calculated fight now since ktfo6
