Bruce Lee vs. elite Boxers with no rules. That's what I had in mind when I made this thread.

It can be possible, if he devoted his effort to fully learn the craft. The man is obviously is extermely disclipined and dediciated to what he did, so I have no reason to believe he can **** with the best in his division which looks to be lightweight. Hell I go as far as saying I think he can beat anyone at lightweight right now from the grave.

Bruce would have had both Manny and Floyd begging for mercy at the same time.

It's hard to evaluate how good he'd have been.

Given his atheleticism he'd probably have been at least a decent LW.

Hard to say if he'd be elite, there are too many things we don't know (chin/ring IQ etc. ).

it's like saying Goku vs Pac, Lee's myth was made by his non-fiction movies. Ray Robinsons myth was made in ring by 10's of widely unseen fights.

Myth Vs Myth : Ray Robinson Vs Bruce Lee.

That question is pretty general, of course there are many boxers with different skill levels, so in the ring no question he could beat some his size with his god given ability.

There is no question he can give it but the question is can he take it?

Part of being world class is the ability to take punishment in the ring not just give it; and you can not dodge them all for 4,6,8,10 or 12 rounds aginst a good boxer, and the jury will always be out on that subject.

But on the street Bruce got that one.

On the street is what I'm talking about. Not a Boxing match. No rules.

You make a good point about taking punishment. That matters including in a real fight. Obviously Bruce Lee had exceptional Martial Arts skills but we'll never know what his level of durability was. Being small in size I think facing much bigger and stronger opponents would be rough on him as it is with anyone facing a larger opponent. But I think the X-Factor against a Boxer would be his versatility.
