As has been reported many times over, WBA/WBO super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux's co-promotional agreement with Top Rank expired after his first round knockout of Sod Kokietgym on Saturday evening in Macau.
Contrary to various media reports, the two-time Olympic gold medalist is however still under contract with Caribe Promotions.
BoxingScene.com was contacted by Caribe Promotions Vice President Louis Fonseca and Caribe Promotions lawyer Jared Lopez to clarify their position with Rigondeaux and to make it known that they are open to listening to offers to co-promote the talented Cuban.
