You ever heard of the term 'figure of speech'?

When he says whoever, obviously he means the top fighters and in this quote in the thread title, he's basically saying he's only interested in the top fighters, which would include Ward. Whats the problem? that's what we want.

My god, some people are really dumb!!!

So you're hating on him for wanting to fight the top fighters only?

not for him because he's not a ppv fighter. he's going to have to get by on regular hbo since his style is so boring yet he doesn't realize this. he can either fight bums at 168 or challenge himself at 175. either way hes not going on ppv.

Who knows, maybe he would. However Ward is not willing to go up in weight to test himself and wants to drain fighters instead. Don't forget he was a gold medalist at 175 in the Olympics hahaha. I know the amateurs are different but he's obviously comfortable at 175.

          Also he's basically retired

I don't get the commotion, they said back in January they were focusing on 160 unless something lucrative came up.

Last year he couldn't get fight and were open to anything, this year he can get fights so they've adjusted accordingly.

Ward's a fighter you need to be able to call the shots against otherwise it'll be Jack Reiss and a hug/clinch-fest in Oakland.

I will come out and say this fight will not happen, until one of them loses to someone else first. It is how the boxing world rolls now.
I don't think anyone is any hurry to see that fight anyway. To most Golovkin v Froch is more exciting, perhaps even Golovkin v Kessler.

Andre isn't even a real boxer anymore. He's a part time commentator/whiner. Oh yeah, he's chasing big money fights too. Said he wouldn't go to fight kovelav cuz it's not a big money ppv fight. Lol
What Ward fans? most of these guys are disgruntled flom.os who want to push Golovkin as far away from Floyd as possible.

There are also some who hate the Golovkin hype.

It would only be a reflection upon yourself. What I said was accurate, a Ward-Golovkin PPV wouldn't sell, a Mayweather-Golovkin PPV would.

If Ward ever headlined a PPV event he wouldnt even break 100K buys.... i dont care who his dance partner is! Ward is just not a PPV fighter with his un-fan friendly style.
Why doesnt he understand that? Not every top fighter has to fight on PPV... if the demand is not there you cant force it.
Fight 2-3 times a year on HBO and continue to cash 7-figure checks and STFU already you big cry baby [Ward]!

I'd like to see Golovkin vs Canelo at 160, I think that would be a great fight.

Has Ward ever done a PPV event before in America? Don't know just asking.. Or has GGG done so too? Whichever way am sure those 2 fighting would be on PPV.
