Absolutely nothing but let me get this straight, he's being ducked by someone at 160 who wants to fight the champions there and establish himself. Yet Ward himself won't put on 7 pounds and take on Kovalev (HBO), Hopkins (no ties to any particular network for how long?), but yeah he'll fight chad dawson because big bad chad came down in weight. Fans are quick to point out "all the ducking happening to ward" yet won't call him a duck for not budging either..175lbs awaits you Mr. Ward...
so he would move up to fight jr but not ward
i dont see the diffrents of him moving to fight ward and ward moving up to fight at lw

The man that beats Golovkin would need to be an exceptionally skilled boxer/defensive specialist with great footwork, a solid chin, some power, an almost irrational self-belief, and a smart & executable gameplan. Golovkin has a special ability to impose himself on opponents. His freakish power gets them gut-checking almost immediately and "11 more rounds of this *****" is a difficult concept to embrace for even the bravest of warriors. And Golovkin can box, is patient, and keeps his head straight most of the time. Mayweather's got the skills to do it but he's a little small, a little old and a lot too rich and smart to mess with this one. Ward would bring some advantages into the ring but he looks like a senior calling out a sop****re to me. He should move up for new challenges, not down. GGG's got it right top to bottom. Stay hungry, humble, and finish cleaning out his own division before anything else. Thank goodness for guys like Golovkin in boxing.

That's the one argument I've always had a problem with. Yes he would be moving up, but it's not like he's been a career 168 lber and it's not like he's been there that long. They've been wanting Chavez well before he moved up. He just happened to go up so of course they're going to keep following him. Even though it's just sparring, they've probably got a good enough sense about Chavez that they feel they would beat him even if it is a division higher. It's funny people keep saying that Golovkin hadn't achieved enough to fight Martinez, but he's expected to go up and fight Ward. Their time will come and it'll be a great fight when it happens.

Are you serious? Chavez can't make 160 and usually weighs at least 190 on fight night. Golovkin is a SMALL MW, and Ward makes it a habit of having guys come down to him or up to him but refuses to move up a couple of pounds and fight Kovlev. Let Gennady clean up the MW division first he will get to SMW soon enough.
